Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so how can we miss on that. Breakfast not only boost up your energy for the rest of the day but it is actually very beneficial for your overall health. Here is a list of some breakfast recipes that will surely fulfil your breakfast cravings. Let’s dig into American breakfast of pancakes with some bacon, hash brown and scrambled egg.

PANCKAES::

With few simple and basic ingredients you can make fluffy and delicious homemade pancakes from scratch. Pancakes are easier to make than you think.

Preparation time: 5 minutes Cook time: 15 minutes Total time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2-3 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 ¼ cups milk

Instructions:

  • Take a bowl and whisk all-purpose flour, sugar, salt and baking powder and combine well.
  • Take a separate bowl and add whisk together egg and milk.
  • Now add the wet mixture into dry one and constantly whisk so that you do not end with lumps.
  • Keep whisking and add in melted butter./li>
  • Heat oiled pan over medium-high heat. Start pouring pancake batter on pan. Scoop ¼ cup batter for each pancake so you get equally sized perfect pancakes. Cook until you see bubbles after 2-3 minutes and then flip and cook until
    brown.
  • Repeat the process for each pancake.
  • Top with your favorite syrup and enjoy.

 

BACON:

Combination of fat, salt and crispiness makes bacon irresistible for everyone. It’s an amazing treat for breakfast.

Total time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Thick cut bacon slices 6-8

Instructions:

  • Place bacon slices on baking sheet with aluminum foil lining and bake in oven at 450F for 20 minutes and it is ready.

 

III. HASHBROWNS:

Potatoes can make every meal better. So why not add some in your breakfast as well. Try this recipe of hashbrowns to make crispy restaurant style potatoes.

Preparation time: 15 minutes Cook time: 15 minutes Total time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 grated potatoes
  • Salt-to taste

Instructions:

  • Add grated potatoes in a bowl and mix with salt or more like toss them.
  • Squeeze the potatoes then run water through them and drain. Place on dish towel and wring out excess water.
  • Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add oil in it enough to cover its bottom. Add the potatoes and press and spread across the skillet. After 3-4 minutes flip and cook the other side.
  • Season with some more salt if you like.

 

IV. SCRAMBLED EGGS:

How can we forget eggs in the breakfast! Everyone likes different kinds of eggs but here is the recipe for scrambled eggs lovers. These rich in flavor eggs only take about 5 minutes to cook and come out perfect.

Preparation time: 2 minutes Cook time: 3 minutes Total time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper

Instructions:

  • Whisk the eggs in a bowl. Take a nonstick skillet and brush it with olive oil. Put it on medium heat.
  • Pour eggs in skillet and cook for couple of seconds.
  • Using rubber spatula form curds of scrambled eggs. Continue stirring for few more seconds.
  • Remove from heat. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste and serve.
